📄 Terms

The agreement,
in plain words

What you can expect from Roll36, and what we ask in return.

The important parts
The pictures you take are yours — we claim nothing. The free plan lets you save a set number of pictures a day. Pro removes that limit and bills monthly through the app store, and you can cancel there at any time.

1. Using Roll36

Roll36 is a camera application. Installing it gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it. You may not resell it, or redistribute the film LUTs it ships with as a separate product.

2. The pictures you take

They are yours, entirely. We claim no rights over anything you photograph or record, we never see it, and we place no watermark on it — on either plan.

3. Free and Pro

3.1. Free

3.2. Pro

If we change what a plan includes, the change applies from your next billing period, not retroactively.

4. Payment and refunds

Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store, under their terms. Refunds are requested through them, and their policy governs — we cannot process a refund for a purchase we never received directly.

5. What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it correct and fast, but we cannot promise it is free of defects, nor that it behaves identically on every phone — camera hardware differs enormously between devices.

Keep your own backups of pictures that matter. Roll36 writes to your system gallery precisely so your photographs do not depend on this app continuing to exist, but the responsibility for backing them up is yours.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Roll36 to photograph people without their consent where the law requires it, or in places where photography is prohibited. What you point the camera at is your responsibility.

7. Changes

These terms may change as the app does. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top reflects the current version.
