Most camera apps take a photo and then filter it. Roll36 puts the film between the sensor and the screen.

Real 3D colour LUTs
Each stock is a 33×33×33 colour lookup table sampled on the GPU, not a colour matrix or a saturation slider. Adding a film means dropping in a .cube file.
Film engine
The preview is the photograph
The same shader chain runs on the live frame and on the full-resolution capture. What you framed is what lands in your gallery — there is no second version.

Works with no signal
Every photograph is made on the phone. On a plane, in a basement, abroad with data off — the camera behaves exactly the same.
Offline
Nothing is uploaded
Your photographs and recordings never leave the device. There is no cloud processing, no AI service, nothing to opt out of.

Recording runs the identical film chain at 1080p with sound, so a clip matches a still shot on the same stock.
